This summer has seen an outstanding number of new dining and leisure venues springing up in Marbella, confirming the view that the area is maintaining its position as a leading European resort.

Nobu
The opening of a Nobu restaurant in Marbella has been one of the most talked about events of the season. The world-famous restaurant chain, created by famous Japanese chef Nobuyuki ‘Nobu’ Matsuhisa opened its doors at the Puente Romano in June with its signature dish Black Cod in Miso amongst other delicacies.

The Monkey Club
Another addition to the Puente Romano’s stylish selection of eateries. This new dining and drinking venue from Marbella’s Restaurante Casamono offers an informal ambience with a Mediterranean influenced menu. It’s open every day from 19.30hrs to midnight and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The Monkey Club is an ideal place to celebrate with a group of friends or host a party. You may wish to reserve a table, but guests without reservations are also welcome.

El Chiringuito
This has been an incredible summer for the Puente Romano. The arrival of this famous Ibiza brand is exciting and it promises honest, great tasting food in a warm relaxed environment. Situated at Puente Romano’s beachside, Chiringuito is a fabulous spot to enjoy sea views from the comfort of a sun lounger whilst sipping cocktails.

The Little Geranium
Some of you may be familiar with the Little Geranium restaurant in La Cala de Mijas, which TV chef Steve Saunders opened in 2015. This summer he is opening anot

her Little Geranium on Marbella’s Golden Mile, opposite the Marbella Club Hotel. Saunders has brought in two chefs now – Matthew Donaldson and Aaron Sanlon – from Northern Ireland to oversee the open plan kitchen.

NAO Pool Club by Olivia Valere
A club that is like a beach club but nowhere near a beach. Instead Nao Pool Club is situated in the heart of Nueva Andalucía, Marbella. Surrounded by trees and with stunning mountain views, this establishment offers an alternative solution to sea and sand. Large sunbeds, cocktails and a modern menu have made it a popular spot this summer.

Mahiki Beach by Sala
Marbella is the latest addition to the Mahiki brand’s roster and forms a collaboration between Mahiki and Marbella’s La Sala Group. With its Tiki décor, delicious fresh fruit cocktails and tropical décor Mahiki promises a sunshine paradise venue. The menu features a mixture of original Spanish chiringuito cuisine, along with some of La Sala’s signature dishes and a tropical grill menu from Mahiki in London and Dubai.
